- Southern California's Premiere not for profit Fishing Club offering club memberships and up to date information for San Diego's Anglers. We hold many fishing tournaments throughout the year for cash and prizes. The San Diego Rod and Reel Club in Southern California offers fishing tournaments for all ages such as the Spotted Bay Bass Tournament, Chuck Byron Tournament, Children of the Troops, Big Fish Tournament, Rock Cod Tournament, Team Fishing, Poway Fishing Tournament, Triple B Bass Tournament, Yellowtail Tournament, Bass Tournament, Dorado Tournament and many others. The San Diego Rod and Reel Club meets on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm in the beautiful setting of the Bali Hai Restaurant overlooking San Diego Bay, in Point Loma. The meetings are full of fun and informative stuff for the serious angler to the club youngsters (yes kids are welcomed) who are assured a winning raffle ticket from the kids raffle.
